Grenville Walker founded the firm in September 1994. It has grown from one solicitor to  a firm with 8 solicitors, a barrister, legal executive, licensed conveyancer  and a range of  support staff.

With offices in Bournemouth (under the name of Paul Gunn & Co) Blandford  Weymouth and  Portland the firm is able to provide legal services throughout Dorset.

Our approach is to provide a personal and professional service to all clients. If there is no one with the relevant expertise in a particular office another lawyer from another office may be able to see you at the office nearest you.

If your problem is outside the areas of work with which we deal we may be able to suggest another provider of legal services to assist. We will tell you if that arises.

Grenville J Walker has a legal aid franchise in family and crime. In crime, legal aid is means tested. If you qualify you will pay nothing towards your costs. In family legal aid is also means tested. If you qualify you may still have to pay a contribution to your costs. We can advise you about this.

We offer the first half hour free to enable you and us to decide if there is merit in you instructing us. If legal aid is not available realistic estimates will be given. All clients are given regular costs  updates.
